Cooking for Prevention and Management of Diabetes

Have your or a family member been recently diagnosed with diabetes?

Would you like to know more about what kinds of food to eat to help manage or prevent diabetes?

Here at Central Street Cookery School we’re running a NEW 4 week Diabetes Prevention and Management Course for anyone interested in cooking for diabetes.

The course will be run by our in house Nutritional Therapist Aga Wcislo, who will present the facts about diabetes management to all attendees, and be on hand to assist with any questions you may have.

Week 1 What is Diabetes?

Cooking- Popular Dishes

Week 2 Balanced Diet

Cooking- Healthy Snacks and Treats

Week 3 Reading Food Labels

Cooking- Lunch Ideas, take away lunch etc

Week 4 Importance of Physical Activity

Cooking- Dinner ideas

There will be a good deal of literature to support these sessions and each attendee will have a folder to fill and take away with them at the end of the course.

The course costs £20 for members, and £100 for non-members.

Dinner is included. Please note the price is for all 4 classes, and all classes must be attended.
